Why I Built Name Combiner
The idea for Name Combiner started with my fiancée, Shinogai. Like many couples, we love creating fun combined names for ourselves. We would sit together and try to make these names by hand, but none of them felt quite right.
We also enjoyed using other fun tools made for couples like love calculators, ship name generators, wedding hashtag makers, and nickname creators. These tools helped us have fun together and made our relationship stronger.
The Problem We Found
But we noticed the internet had many messy and confusing tools. Some websites only had one or two tools. Some were filled with too many ads. Others did not really understand what couples actually need.

- •Some gave a bad experience with slow loading and confusing designs
- •Tools often gave random results that couples did not actually want
- •No single place had all the tools couples need in one spot
The Research Journey
So, I opened my laptop and started researching. I spent days looking at different websites and tools to understand what couples really wanted. After all my research, I had a clear goal: create the number one place for tools specially made for couples.
Building this website and the first three tools took me exactly 3 months and 7 days. Yes, that is a lot of time! But I wanted to make sure every tool gives couples real, useful results, not just random stuff. During this whole journey, my fiancée Shinogai helped me so much with research, testing, and design. I want to thank her for this tremendous help.
Our Mission
We are a couple who built tools for couples. We did the research. We built the website. We created every tool with one single purpose: to help couples like us with naming, having fun together, and making relationships stronger and happier.
